Glasgow's Science Centre
has loads on offer; this stylish and futuristic building is a magnificent
site and rests on the banks of the River Clyde. With it's metallic
exterior it is visible throughout Glasgow. Inside you will find a wealth of activities including a Planetarium, live Science shows running throughout the day and much more. You can learn all about Science from the past right up to the present with a closer look at the solar system and learn all about it with informative presentations. You can also visit the Glasgow Tower, which is also part of the Science Centre; at almost 400 feet tall it is quite an experience! As well as the Glasgow Tower if you are perhaps more of a movie person you must check out the famous IMAX theatre. The IMAX runs 3D films daily including movies about the earth, prehistoric mammals and many more besides. With a screen that is bigger than a 5-a-side football pitch and phenomenal sound you will be amazed. All in all everyone is guaranteed a great day out at the Science Centre whether your eight or eight it truly is a must-see attraction in Glasgow. |
